o Born and raised in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
o A 1974 graduate of New Philadelphia Senior High School.
o Has managed and operated several businesses.
o Graduated from Gulf-Coast Bible College (now Mid-America Christian University)
1980 with a BS in Bible and Christian Education.
o Graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University 1993 with a MS in Management.
o May 2004 completed 25 years in ministry having served as Associate Pastor
for congregations in Sioux City, Iowa; Lake Charles, La.; Akron, In. and Eaton,
In.. He served as Senior Pastor of the First Church of God in Wabash for 11
1/2 years.
o He has been Senior Pastor at the Akron Church of God since October, 2003.
o He is a gifted communicator and leader.
o He and his wife, Ruth (a school teacher) are the proud parents of two teenage
boys Josh and Nate.
o He enjoys camping, golfing and watching sports.

o Born in Wabash and raised in Miami county.
o She graduated from North Miami High School.
o She is a licensed Real Estate agent.
o She has served three congregations as secretary.
o She has been Secretary/Office Manager at the Akron Church of God since January,
2004
o She and her husband Chris have three daughters Adrian, Mary and Lana; and
one son.. .James.
o She enjoys cooking, being a mother and involvement in her church.
o The Cole's are active in the Roann Church of the Brethren.
